Members

OACPL members are lawyers who are committed to the defence of parents and other respondents in child protection cases as demonstrated by:

i. Devoting a significant portion of their practice to the defence of parents and other adult respondents in child protection litigation (such as grandparents, and kinship caregivers); and/or

ii. Devoting significant efforts to strengthening the child protection defence bar.

Details

Members will be included on the OACPL listserv, will have priority access to our continuing education programs, have access to discounts on textbooks, may run for an executive position of the board of directors, and may vote in board elections and on any other matter requiring a vote put to the general membership.

Members can be listed on the OACPL web lawyer directories when they become available.

Members of the OACPL will automatically become members of any existing local chapters.
