Oriana Pollitt specialises in family and criminal law. She is a passionate and dedicated advocate with a strong client focus. One of her main strengths is listening and understanding her clients, so that she can advocate effectively on their behalf. Before setting up her own practice, Oriana worked for Legal Aid Ontario as a Staff Lawyer, providing Summary Legal Advice and Duty Counsel services to clients. She also articled with Legal Aid Ontario where she worked as Duty Counsel and completed a secondment at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, for women survivors of domestic violence. Oriana has Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and completed a LL.M. from the University of Ottawa, specialising in Social Justice, where she received the Dean's Scholarship. She completed her undergraduate degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science, in International Relations. She is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Family Lawyer's Association, the Criminal Lawyers' Association and the Law Union of Ontario.
